Exhibition "Scattered", November 8th, 2018.

A hundred or so people came to opening night. There we three of us exhibiting in three different “rooms” -

  • Lesleigh Stewart who paints intriguing minimalist works (slickpic7 on Instagram)

  • Catherine Perkins, a lyrical landscape artist (catherine_perkins_artist on Instagram)

  • and me (see gallery and sold pages)

We all sold a flattering number of paintings throughout the 11 days we exhibited at the Metcalfe Gallery (BIA).

Note: Although selling art work is desirable and very heartening to those of us who bear our souls on canvas, I don’t consider it the true measure of the importance of an artist’s work. Still, in my heart, I thank the people who buy my work because it means I’ve achieved my primary reason for “image” making - communication of ideas and ideals.
